Dr. Steve Nenninger, N.M.D.
As head of the Steuben Park Research advisory board, Dr. Steve has the final say on which products are added to our product mix and which supplements are not. Dr. Steve is a Connecticut State Licensed Naturopathic Physician, Arizona and California State Licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor. Working with clients in NYS under a New York State Nutrition Certification.
Dr. Steve Nenninger is a 1995 graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM). One of the first of a new generation of naturopathic doctors to return to New York to practice, he has since maintained a full practice in both his home town of Port Jefferson, N.Y. as well as in Midtown Manhattan.
In addition to treating well known clients, he was the founding donor of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP), and has been one of the largest individual donors and fundraisers for the effort to gain licensure for naturopathic doctors in New York State. Through the collaborative efforts of NYANP president Dr. Doni Wilson, ND, and Dr. Nenninger, as well as past and present serving boards and members, the New York licensure bill is now positioned for passage with the state legislature.
Dr. Doni Wilson, N.M.D.
Doni Wilson graduated from Bastyr University in year 2000 with a doctor in naturopathic medicine degree and Dr. certificate in midwifery. She fulfilled a residency in general naturopathic medicine at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, Wash., and was awarded for her contributions. She also served as adjunct faculty member for Bastyr University and went on to complete a women’s health-focused internship with Tori Hudson, ND. Dr. Wilson holds bachelor’s degrees in both nutrition and general science from Oregon State University.
Dr. Wilson currently serves as president of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP) and has held that position since April 2003. Her leadership and collaborative efforts there have served an instrumental role in positioning the ND licensure bill for passage with the state legislature, potentially soon gaining licensure for NDs in the cornerstone state of New York. Dr. Wilson was awarded the NYANP Naturopathic Physician of the Year award in 2004. In addition, Dr. Wilson is a past board member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).
Specializing in women’s and children’s health, Dr. Wilson practices naturopathic medicine in Greenwich, Conn., as well as in New York City. Dr. Wilson is a certified professional midwife (CPM) and a certified doula. Dr. Wilson speaks regularly at public and professional events.
